Thank you so much for taking the time today. I’d like to ask you a couple of quick questions about your experience with Arthur at ASE Softnet. I understand he built the Look Better Online site for you. Why did you use Arthur’s service?
Actually I’ve been using Arthur for 6 years and we didn’t start with Look Better Online, we started with a different project, a dating site. I found him on elance. I was working with a company from India and they created the first prototype for the dating site. And after a whole year of development it was absolutely terrible. It wasn’t working the way it was supposed to work, it was slow and just awful.
So I found Arthur on Elance and I said can you tell me what is wrong with this code? So he wrote me 6 pages full of what is wrong with the code. I read everything and I was really impressed by how knowledgeable he was with database structures and how things should be written, the code and all that stuff. I asked him to redo the website for me and was like, let’s just do it right this time. We added a bunch of new features and created a bunch of different ideas and that’s how the new dating site was born.
I was very impressed with him, very, very impressed. I have been working with him since then, so 6 years. That’s a lot.
Were they on time and budget?
Yeah absolutely. He’s very, very fast. He has a great team of programmers and really knows how to manage his programmers. So everything was done very well otherwise I wouldn’t be still working with him.
How about price points? Did you find him very competitive?
Oh absolutely. I mean we’re talking 6 years ago and back then it was really, really cheap. It was like $6 an hour and now it’s a different story. They’re doing much better and the pricing there is much more expensive. I think he’s up now to $20 to $25 an hour, I’m not sure, but very reasonable.
Would you recommend Arthur?
I would recommend Arthur highly with no reservations.
