Meetic 2009 Annual Revenue

Meetic logo PRESS RELEASE – Feb 11 – Meetic, the European leader in online dating, announces its annual revenue for 2009. The Group’s total consolidated annual revenue came to 164.5M euros, up +23% on the previous financial
year. Match International contributed 32.4M euros. The Meetic Group had
920,286 subscribers at the end of Dec 2009, compared to 696,472

rebrand led by an animated TV ad featuring characters designed to
appeal to different types of consumers. The campaign, created by US
Sydney, has scraped the old tagline “Make love happen”, for “Where you

to research released ahead of Valentine's Day by eHarmony. Single women
aged under 45 were 13 times more likely than married women under 45 to

partners. Single women aged over 45 were twice as likely to stress the
importance of love, compared to their married peers who were more
