The Most Eligible Online Daters – Big Drinkers Who Live With Parents

Posted on June 10, 2019

Badoo logo 2018MIRROR.CO.UK – June 8 – According to Badoo research honesty is one of the most attractive traits when it comes to online dating. People who live at home with their parents and drink heavily have been revealed to be the most eligible daters online. Analysing 5K users, the dating site found people who reveal niche information, about themselves such as whether they want children someday, were more popular than those who didn't. Female users who claimed to have or want children someday were the most right-swiped, whereas male users who claimed to not want children were top of the list.

The Meet Group Is an Incredible Growth Stock: 3 Reasons Why

Posted on June 7, 2019

Themetgroup logoZACKS EQUITY RESEARCH – June 7 – The Meet Group not only has a favorable Growth Score, but also carries a top Zacks Rank. Studies have shown that stocks with the best growth features consistently outperform the market. And returns are even better for stocks that possess the combination of a Growth Score of A or B and a Zacks Rank #1.

  1. Earnings Growth
Nothing is more important than earnings growth, as surging profit levels is what most investors are after. For growth investors, double-digit earnings growth is highly preferable. While the historical EPS growth rate for Meet Group is 17.3%, investors should actually focus on the projected growth. The company's EPS is expected to grow 28.7% this year.
  2. Impressive Asset Utilization Ratio
Also known as sales-to-total-assets (S/TA) ratio — is often overlooked by investors, but it is an important indicator in growth investing. This metric shows how efficiently a firm is utilizing its assets to generate sales. Right now, Meet Group has an S/TA ratio of 0.72, which means that the company gets $0.72 in sales for each dollar in assets. Comparing this to the industry average of 0.7, it can be said that the company is more efficient.
  3. Promising Earnings Estimate Revisions
Investors should consider the trend in earnings estimate revisions. A positive trend is a plus here.

Can We Trust the Match Group Cartel With Our Dating Data?

Posted on June 6, 2019

Match group brands 2019PROPRIVACY – June 6 – Nearly half of the Match Group's subscribers are not aware of the other dating platforms owned by IAC. 61% of subscribers across Match.com, Tinder, OKCupid, Plenty of Fish and Hinge are concerned about the amount of data they share with the platforms. 65% don't know who owns their dating service. In order for online dating services to be effective at finding compatible partners, they require data. The more personal data they feed into the platforms, the better chance they have of finding a match. But many users don't realize just how much data they're giving away or exactly how these companies use that data once it's handed it over. This lack of awareness is by design. Tinder states in its privacy policy, "…we do not promise, and you should not expect, that your personal information will always remain secure."

IAC’s CFO Talks About Match Group

Posted on June 6, 2019

IAC Glenn SchiffmanTHE STREET – June 5 – Glenn Schiffman has been IAC's CFO since 2016. Echoing recent comments made by Match execs, who recently disclosed a goal of getting 25% of the company's revenue from the Asia-Pacific region by 2023, Schiffman said growing Match's Asian footprint is a priority. Schiffman also said Match hasn't seen any change in its competitive environment, as it battles upstarts such as Bumble and deals with Facebook. And he argued Match's current penetration rates leave it with a lot of room to grow.
