Ivydate logo new June 12BUSINESS INSIDER – June 1 – Beri Meric and Phillipp Triebel, cofounders of IvyDate, raised $1.5M in funding from a bunch of angel investors, including some un-named investors that have put money into Spotify, Uber, and Facebook. Curious US Dating Forums Boom on the Internet

Posted on July 11, 2011

Ivydate logo MCCLATCHY TRIBUNE – July 10 – The internet dating market in the United States is booming: more and more websites are targetting particular social groups, and such specialization brings with it many curiosities. Geek2Geek.com is one of the countless US dating websites aimed at a niche. There is also Ivydate.com, named after the academically elitist Ivy League. All The Good Men: Lost, Now Found

Posted on February 25, 2011

Ivydate logo PR WEB – Feb 25 – Exclusive dating service IvyDate claims to have the world's most well-educated, sophisticated and driven singles. IvyDate.com has been founded by Harvard Business School graduates. Last spring, Philipp Triebel and Beri Meric began crafting IvyDate as the successor to their controversial DateHarvardSQ venture. The initial project provided access to a significant base of Harvard educated singles, attracting thousands of women who were asked to pay subscription fees in order to meet them. While the former Harvard site is still flourishing, the founders now have their eyes set on a new prize – IvyDate's undisputed reign of the New York and London dating scenes.
