ZDNET – May 8 – The personal details of 3.68M MobiFriends users have been posted online in April 2020 and are now available for download. The data was obtained in a security breach that took place in January 2019, according to a hacker who initially put the data up for sale on a hacking forum. While the data does not contain any private messages, images, or sexual-related content, the data does include email addresses, mobile numbers, dates of birth, gender information, usernames, and app/website activity. Furthermore, passwords are included, as well. MobiFriends, a Barcelona-based dating company founded in 2005, has remained silent on the incident and has not returned requests for comment.
