Singles365 Expands Dating Portfolio Into South African And Mature Markets

Maturesingles365 logo GLOBAL PERSONALS – Apr 19 – Singles365.com has expanded its dating portfolio by expanding into the South African market and launching MatureSingles365 – a dedicated offshoot for the over 40’s. Singles365.com's network provider WhiteLabelDating.com has seen huge growth in both the South African and Mature markets. It has grown by 19% since January, with the Mature UK network also increasing by 18%.

Ross Williams: How Dating Turned up the Ideal Business Model

Ross williams money week MONEY WEEK – Dec 23 – In 1999 Ross Wiliams began to design and build websites for small firms based around Plymouth University. His firm, Rawnet, grew fast and he took on his first employee while still at university and in a couple of years he had 20 staff. The only problem with the business was that "it wasn't profitable". Rawnet had annual sales of £2M, but was "living from project to project". So in 2003, he decided to set up a dating website. He had to finance the new site, Singles365.com, with credit cards. He decided to make the software program that Singles365.com used available to competitors – for a price. The service, Whitelabeldating.com, was "a platform for brands and individuals to power their own dating sites". Global Personals – the holding company for his dating services – was soon making more than Rawnet. Williams sold his controlling stake in Rawnet to a senior employee and decided to concentrate on dating. In the last three years more than 5,000 online dating sites around the world have partnered with Global Personals. Global Personals now employs 80 staff and generates annual sales of £20M.

Online Dating Grows 30% In Wake Of iPad Launch

30% increase in member subscriptions since the UK launch of Apple’s
iPad in May. iPad users also visit 126% more pages and typically stay
on GlobalPeronals.co.uk sites,
including Singles365.com and FlirtFix.com, 119% longer than other

Global personals uk team GLOBAL PERSONALS – June 30 – GlobalPersonals.co.uk has
re-launched its website in order to mark the changes the company has
undergone in the last six months, including a new moderation team,
expanded customer care team and their relocation to bigger and better
offices. Global Personal’s own brands include Singles365.com,
DatingAgency.com and FlirtFix.com. Global Personals also owns
WhiteLabelDating.com which has over 1,200 partners and runs over 4,000
online dating sites across the globe.

Cup on Sunday. Traffic to the site was up over 134% compared to the
previous Sunday and up over 187% this week, as men seek to find their

Dating Website Grows Through Love

Ross williams1 TELEGRAPH.CO.UK – Jan 23 – "Our product is love," says Ross Williams, whose Global Personals business accounts for one-third of the UK online dating market. In the late 1990s, he set up the web design and development company Rawnet. By 2003 he create a behind-the-scenes "white label" system and let partners brand and market dating sites. His company, Global Personals, also runs its own site, Singles365.com, and provides the back end for
dating sites branded by magazines Men's Health, FHM and
Cosmopolitan. The company has grown from 10 to 80 people, and is
expanding internationally, first to South Africa and Australia, and

Online Dating Soars As Temperatures Plunge

Online-dating BBC NEWS – Jan 7 - Mysinglefriend.com says visitors to its website soared by 55% on Tuesday alone, with its busiest time coming at 3pm rather than the traditional 10pm. Meanwhile rival site Singles365.com says its visitor numbers grew 27% across Tuesday and Wednesday compared with a year ago. "We can only put this down to the bad weather meaning more people are staying at home", says Singles365.com spokeswoman Katie Mowe. IllicitEncounters.com, a website which provides a platform for married people to conduct affairs, has gained 2,567 new members in the last six days, suggesting that January will be its busiest month ever. WhiteLabelDating Debuts Mobile Platform

Whitelabeldating_logo NETIMPERATIVE — May 28 — WhiteLabelDating.com has recently launched a mobile dating platform for its Singles365.com site. The new mobile platform, developed by Mobestar, will enable users to access their online dating services via their mobile for the first time. WhiteLabelDating.com will roll out its mobile services to all partners free of charge, allowing them to run their own mobile dating services alongside their regular online dating site, providing new revenue streams with no extra running costs.
