College ‘Sugar Babies’ Date For Cash

Posted on February 26, 2013

Sugardaddie logoCNN – Feb 26 - SeekingArrangement.com reports that female college students made up 44% of the site's total users in 2012. With tuition on the rise, that number will likely continue to climb. Men who engage in such relationships, many of whom are older and married, enjoy taking care of young women and assuming a mentor role in their lives, said Steven Pasternack, who launched Sugardaddie.com in 2002. The average monthly "allowance" sugar daddies on the site said they shell out is $3K, according to SeekingArrangement.com. Surprisingly, sex isn't a given. It's obviously on the table but there are other motivations – to go out to eat or to have someone to talk to. SeekingArrangement.com's Wade said the men who subscribe to his site are discouraged from offering money on a per-date basis to avoid operating like an escort service.

Meeting Online Is A Faster-Track To The Bedroom?

Posted on September 14, 2012

Sugardaddie_Sexual Fast-trackPR WEB – Sep 12 – A new survey by Sugardaddie.com found that people (67% of respondents) are more likely to have sex on their first real life date than those who meet the old fashioned way. Some respondents said that the actual physical first date with someone you’ve already chatted to online, isn’t strictly speaking a ‘first date’ because the pair have already interacted, got to know each other’s likes, tone of communication and possibly had a little flirt.

Interview with Steve Pasternack, CEO of SugarDaddie, 7orbetter and MeetAtTheAirport

Posted on August 23, 2011

OPW INTERVIEW – Aug 23 –

You’ve got an interesting background I understand. What did you used to do?
I was a Bonds trader. I worked on the New York markets exchange.  I was a trader for 18 years.

What prompted the change?
In 2001 things were changing financially for the markets and my 18 years on the trading floor were starting to take their toll, so I decided to move back to Florida. At that time all the .coms were collapsing. It wasn’t the best industry to be in. I was looking for something different when I heard something from Ron Jeremy, a new way to make some money. The idea made me think of my multi-millionaire friends in NY and my friends in Florida and how I could put these people together through a dating site, make everyone happy.

Why would you encourage people to meet at the airport?
There are so many reasons. For example, say you’re flying to a new city, you can arrange to meet someone at the airport and they can be your tour guide, companion, possible romantic fling. It’s exciting flying somewhere and meeting someone new. The airport is actually a good place to meet a complete stranger. They have had gone through security and proven their ID, proven they are not carrying any weapons.

For 7OrBetter.com…  Do you know how many guys are 7 or better in the USA?
Obviously men in general are not 7 or better, that is not the average size. However, there are 1000's of men out there that are 7 or better and it can be difficult for them to find a woman who can accommodate their size. There are also women that require a guy that is a bit larger.

What’s your male to female ratio, are there more guys than girls?
It’s generally about 50:50.

Sugardaddie.com, is your most frequented property.  There's some controversy surrounding the sugardaddy concept. Is it really just prostitution? What’s your thoughts?
That’s a question I always get asked and sometimes it’s difficult to explain.  If a woman is charging by the hour/day then that’s a business transaction and that’s prostitution.  But if it’s part of an ongoing relationship in which the guy is taking care of the woman, not necessarily helping her financially but always taking her on trips etc then that’s a legal relationship. Some say it’s the same as a marriage, where the husband pays for everything and the wife doesn’t have to worry about anything. It’s because of the age difference and the fact that the man takes care of the woman that raises an eyebrow but apart from that it’s just the same as any other relationship.

Do you have any plans to launch more dating sites?
I’m always looking for ideas but at the moment I just have the 3 sites.

Valentine’s Day Massacre On Sugardaddie.com

Posted on February 9, 2010

Sugardaddie logo PR WEB – Feb 9 – Traditionally a man was safe on Valentine’s Day if he gave his love interest a dozen red roses and a box of chocolates, but over the recent years that has changed, especially on the upscale dating site Sugardaddie.com. Men on this site give extravagant gifts such as condos, cars, diamonds and trips around the world. In a recent poll taken on Sugardaddie.com, these attractive women, overwhelmingly stated they require much more than roses. Fishing For That Perfect Partner On The Web

Posted on December 26, 2008

Plentyoffish logo NORTH SHORE NEWS — Dec 24 – For some people the online dating world is a boon, for others it is a waste of time and source of more frustration. One of the biggest and apparently best of the online dating sites is www.plentyoffish.com. Plenty of Fish is absolutely free. It might not have the fancy matching logic but it does have volume. You have to love some of the other names for dating sites: LonelyWivesAffairs seems to have promise, kisscafe has a nice Sleepless in Seattle feel to it, and I won't even begin on Sugardaddie.com.

Niche Sites Making A Match Easier

Posted on July 3, 2008

Ave_maria_singles_logo SUN TIMES — July 3 — Forget eHarmony, Match.com or Yahoo Personals. Singles increasingly are turning to niche online dating sites promising to match couples with similar interests, backgrounds or religions. Mark Brooks, whose blog Online Personals Watch chronicles the Internet dating industry, estimates that niche sites now occupy approximately 43% of total market share. Brooks writes that while mainstream sites are stagnating, niche sites continue to grow. People looking to meet Trekkies or truckers can turn to the Passions Network, Sugardaddie.com bills itself as the place where the "classy, attractive and affluent meet", Ave Maria Singles offers a service for hard-line Catholics interested in sacramental marriage and Positivesingles.com is for people staying positive though they've tested positive — for sexually transmitted diseases.

E-dating Goes Niche

Posted on February 20, 2008

Coupleswhojustclicked METRO.CO.UK — Feb 20 — According to press agency Response Source, 7.8 million people in Britain went online to find their match last year, up a third on 2005. And "e-dating" became more specialised. Mysinglefriend.com, where people nominate their unattached chums, was one of the first niche markets. WooMe, is an online speed dating company, and LoopyLove is a social networking site for singletons. Then there is the slightly more risqué market. AshleyMadison.com is for people looking for 'extracurricular activity'. Sugardaddie.com is aimed at women looking for a man with that extra bulge where it matters most, the wallet. Launched in 2002, the site now has a database of 250,000 members and is growing at a rate of 4,000 a week.

Singled Out: A Seattle Dating Blog

Posted on July 23, 2007

Wealthymen_logoSEATTLE PI — July 20 — Perhaps you've heard of Sugardaddie.com or wealthymen.com? They are exactly what they sound like: online dating sites for rich, successful men to meet hot, young trophy women. For women, there is something you are going to have to give up. But I also believe if both parties are clear on the arrangement, it's okay for rich older men to marry pretty young things for sex and obedience who are in turn marrying them for their money.
