TECH.EU – London-founded video dating app The Sauce has raised £1.25M in a seed funding round. The funding will be used to continue further development of the app. Founded in 2020 by serial entrepreneurs Emma Clark and Sachin Karia, The Sauce officially launched in May 2021.

LINKEDIN – The Sauce is a new London-based dating app that removes the need for profile photos and lets users upload video profiles instead. The app has recently rolled out a new campaign hoping to engage singletons by scanning QR codes on posters that have been hung up throughout London. It turns out 73% of singles are not over their ex.
ELLE.COM – Dating app The Sauce has been voted the #1 dating app by ELLE magazine in their roundup of "20 dating apps you'll actually want to use in 2021". The app claims 15K sign ups and 50% month by month growth. The Sauce features include video based profiles with TikTok like feeds.
UKTN – Apr 28 – London-based dating app startup Qemistry has raised a £250K fundraise on Crowdcube. These funds will be utilized for marketing. Qemistry enables users to set a series of video clips on their profile, instead of mere static images. The app already has a wait list of 10K Londoners.
