OPW – Who remembers the iDate conferences? iDate ran from 2005 to 2020. We powered a weekly newsletter for 13 of those years for iDate. See those 686 weekly newsletters at OnlinePersonalsInsider.com. The very same team still runs OnlinePersonalsWatch.com (a.k.a. OPW.news).

At this stage, I think OPW is becoming quite an unusual resource for researching the dating industry, going back to 2004. See the hundreds of companies we've tracked since OPW started in 2004. When it comes to faithfully summarising the daily dating industry news, we've got you covered.

Conferences Update

OPW – Here are the next few conferences worthy of your consideration.

Our next IDEA SUMMIT is in late November at happn's HQ in Paris, led by the CEO of happn. This is for CEOs of dating apps. A round table of 22 leaders will discuss Innovation, and M&A Strategy. IDEA SUMMITs are by-invite-only for IDEA members. See IDEA.gp and email mark@courtlandbrooks.com to apply for membership. We build diverse groups of leaders for each of these private IDEA SUMMITs.

LTR stands for Love, Technology, Relationships (see LTR.us) and is our online conference and is available to all IDEA members. The next one will be announced here on OPW.news soon.

The next GDI Conference for the dating industry-at-large is at Omni Hotel in San Francisco on 20th October and they're offering a 2-for-1 discount. So $399 gets you two seats. Dating Industry Conferences

OPW – Here are a few events to consider.

First of all, our IDEA event. In real life, we have the Paris IDEA SUMMIT at happn's new HQ in Paris on Monday 28th November, with a day of socializing in Paris the day before on Sun 27th. This is exclusively for CEOs and leaders of significant dating apps to meet. Think of this as a round table for the industry's top leadership. The focus is on Innovation and M&A strategy. Prior IDEA SUMMITs this year were in New York, Dubai and Singapore. The Paris IDEA SUMMIT is free and by direct invite-only with just 22 participants.

Our external partners are also running the following events for your consideration.

For matchmakers and relationship coaches, there's the Global Love Conference in London on Wed 21st Sep, which is run by our friends at the Global Love Institute. See event here. The event is at Churchill War Rooms and costs $395.

For the dating industry at large, check out GDI's London Conference, which is their signature event on Thu 22nd Sep.
