Contrary to Mark’s comment Shaadi.com is the leading Indian Matrimonial site; not Muslim dating/matrimonial. While their pool of Muslim members is repectable, it is at best second fiddle to Qiran.com which has attracted many Muslims from the Middle East. This is in large part due to their MSN Arabia partnership and Arabic site translation. Shaadi on the other hand has good penetration among the Muslim populations that reside in Asian countries.
Sites like our own ArabLounge.com are a bit more niche. http://ArabLounge.com is comprised of mostly US/UK/Canadian Arabs with a member base of both Muslim and Christian Arabs.
It’s the same thing with Jewish dating. And the matchmakers always hand out the “low grade” material first before they get to the good stuff.
