STATESMAN — June 20 — A 14-year-old who said she was sexually assaulted by a man she met on MySpace sued the popular social networking site Monday for $30 million, claiming that it fails to protect minors from adult sexual predators.

Myspace.com should have some privacy policy statement to protect teens from assault online or background check when registering people.
On the other hand, when we communicate online we’re not protected anyway. It’s up to us to be cautious when getting closer with interesting people. I suppose that girl was too open to everyone and these are the results.
