Markus Frind started Plentyoffish.com out of his Vancouver apartment after being frustrated at high priced internet dating alternatives. Markus commented, "I think the top paid dating sites are a little surprised at how my site has grown recently." Markus still runs Plentyoffish as a one man operation and refuses to sell the site, despite several offers in the tens of millions of dollars.

Cupid.com has no chances against PoF.. imagine what could be inverse effect if first Guiness record will be recorder in Ontario.. PoF community is much larger than cupid and they can organize smth like world wide speed dating event in all major world cities.. and if Markus will give one of his AdSense checks for events organising as a sponsor 🙂 he would receive much much more from these events overview in press, on TV and other advertising forms… GL, Markus!
