OPW — Jan 5 — You've probably heard of Truedater.com by now. Truedater allows internet daters to post reviews on other daters. I wondered if they had to got to any level critical mass by now. Alas, looks like they're not doing that well. They're at 640k Alexa rank, with a 270k decline. Integridate.com has just started up so perhaps they'll get more press attention and word-of-mouth. Do you think these sites have a future? Why might dating sites partner with them. – Mark Brooks

It’s too hard to get people to go to a site that all you do is rate or research, the best approach would be to integrate it with a site that is a full service dating site.

I disagree with Andy Arnott. It is not too hard to get people to a site with such content. I know this exactly in terms of Western men’s black list (Jerks from dating sites). It successful work for 3 years with the same concept as Integridate.com going to do, only for russian women. But you even cannot imagine what interest we have on the part of americans and europeans, they are very afraid to find their photos (especially nude)and reports about their great online deeds on that black list that is why they check our site almost on daily basis.
So I am sure this Integridate will be soon very popular among Americans -
These sites have been doomed from the beginning. If anything, Rapleaf could come in and win the game. There are too many ways to game the system (new credit cards, change username, etc) to make these sites valuable. Then you have the whole issue of lack of traction. The site is only useful if people use it , and who wants to blab about their date online?

David, almost everyone, who has even once tried to date online. People adore to complain, teach, moralize, gossip. Seems it is called “to share experience” especially a bad one. The most successful in it are americans and women. They are willing to tell in detail everything about their date online to anybody who agrees to listen.
BTW don’t you blab about date online, though with scientific touch? -
The power of TrueDater.com is not in compiling a “reputation score” for daters or even publishing static reviews but rather in connecting daters who have met people to interact directly with each other. Mark, thanks for your wishes for TrueDater success, we are getting ready to launch a new version in the next few weeks as we continue to expand our ability to provide a neutral, safe environment for daters to meet each other to share information and stories.
