SHANGHAI DAILY — Mar 12 — Beginning today, Baihe.com will screen its eight million online daters against an ID authentication system it jointly developed with the Ministry of Public Security, said CEO Jason Tian. "In the long run, we'll arrange dates only for those who are proven to be telling the truth," he said. A survey by China Computer World Research showed 32% felt it was risky because prospective partners misrepresented themselves online.

Mark Brooks: Baihe.com is China's equivalent of eHarmony.

At ChristianSinglesDating.com, we take great measures to protect our members from scamming. We can’t claim infallibility, but our members are aware that our site is different than others.
I’ve received these recent posts in our forums:
“I feel so blessed running across your site. Thanks for the hard work that you’re doing catching and deleting these people. I recommended this site to the women who told me that they met their scammer off of E-Harmony. Now, I thought that E-Harmony was a safe site.
This one (CSD) is the best! ”
Another said:
“Most Christian single sites are filled with nothing but scammers, so I do know all about them and how to spot them. So far I haven’t had that problem here. I thank you again and hope God blesses all of you for the good your doing.”
And another…
“I don’t know if you have heard of the site called romance scams, but I use to go there all the time and you wouldn’t believe how many people have fallen for these romance scams. They prey on the lonely and it breaks my heart, because a lot of these people lost a lot of money and some even faced prison because they fell for these people. Some even wanted to kill themselves.
The site educated me on what to look for and if you know what to look for they are easy to spot, but educating people is the first start and these people who started the romance scam site is doing just that by spreading the word through the media and talk shows as well as individuals. I myself have not been scammed out of any money, but you wouldn’t believe how many I have had after me…
Well you might believe since you spend all day warning and blocking, but it shocked me when I started this online dating again after being away for two years. I never heard of them then, now it seems they are every where and it makes me sick to know they prey upon good lonely people who are only searching for love.
Of all the sites I’ve been on, I must tell you, your’s is the most friendly and does seem to care and that is what makes your site special. Thank you and keep up the good work, because it is worth it. God Bless.”
I wish someone would write about our site and what we do. Seems if you can’t afford a public relations department you just simply don’t warrant any news. So I guess I’ll toot my own horn! LOL
God bless,
Nannette
