Jim Safka will now be the CEO of a new IAC-backed venture in San Francisco identifying new business opportunities for IAC. Thomas joined Match.com in November 2004 as SVP & GM North America and worked side-by-side with Jim Safka. Prior to Match.com, Thomas served as VP E-Commerce for AT&T Wireless. Before that he worked with E*Trade and Accenture, and he holds an MBA from INSEAD. – Mark Brooks
