SACRAMENTO BEE — Oct 5 — The dating industry as a whole rakes in $1 billion each year. Professional matchmaking, with at least 1,300 matchmakers, accounts for about $236 million of that. Companies like DinnerMatch and Table for Six Total Adventures are helping some of America's 92 million singles who are finding it harder to meet people.
Mark Brooks: The Matchmaking Conference in New Jersey went well. 80 matchmakers and business people were in attendance. Kelleher and Associates were in attendance. They charge $65k-$120k per match! Most matchmakers charge ~$5k-$10k and have 25+ clients.
The whole idea of this service is brilliant. There are matchmaking services out there that have an incredible success rates. T46 however has a totally different approach. Besides the ‘Table For Two’ service which is basically a regular matchmaking idea, they also have other events. They have the T46 event where you have dinner with five other singles who are similar to you. The point of this is that even if you aren’t looking to get married, you can still meet new people in a friendly and comfortable way. They also do fun events like white water rafting, archery, hikes and other activity events which is basically the same idea as the T46 without the dinner table. All these different aspects including a few more minor details make this company so special and unique. If you are looking for your life partner and don’t want anything else than a matchmaking service would be the choice. If however you want more fun and energetic experiences and much easier ways to make new friends possibly a girl/boyfriend than this is the place for you. I’ve been a member for a year and I haven’t been disappointed yet. That says a lot about this service.
