operation, and according to JupiterResearch, as many as 11.7 million
people are expected to pay for e-dating services by 2009, up from 10
million in 2006. In a
2007 survey by Forrester Research, 22% of online daters reported
success in meeting
people they like. Myriad niche sites have sprung up based on certain
hobbies, interests and personality traits. Many niche sites are free.
