I am always very wary of Facebook applications. Be aware that a lot of applications datamine your personal information. Yes, you might think that your personal profile is secure and you only accept people you know as friends, but when you install these applications to give “virtual gifts” or whatever, sometimes these applications have a fine print that allows the developers to “know who I am and access my information”.

That’s a really great point. I don’t think many people are aware of this. I’ll stick with myspace for now. 🙂
