C’mon Mark – the industry has had this taintedness from the adult side for years – we want dating to be seen as the legitimate business that it is. As proof, what is the reaction from some people when you tell them what you do for a living? They raise their eyebrows – and, here is their thought process: “Did I hear right? This guy is into online sex? How nice. Oh, sorry, dating? Really? People do that?”
How, then does proposing to have iDate at the Playboy Mansion make any sense? Every adult site online would be clammering to be there. That’s the image you want?
For starters, you’d lose all of those us in the religious dating niches. I can just see the headlines: “Christian dating site at Playboy mansion”. Gee, my members would love to hear that. Not.

There you have it. Sorry guys. Some of you were pumped….but the answer is….NO. Mr Hefner actually uses the Mansion as his home. And he doesn’t want the riff-raff (Thats you and me) inside.
