For a cost of $22.95 singles get the badge plus access to online forums to join hobby groups and organise social events such as wine tasting or walking groups with other yis.com.au members.

Mark Brooks: What a terrible idea! Singelringen does the same thing in a non-cheesy manner. Actually, its a pretty classy ring. I'd wear the ring, but I wouldn't wear the losers badge. I'll be wearing this ring as of April 25th however and Irena and Sasha will make an honest man of me.
Badges, cards, trinkets, necklaces, t-shirts, all indicating the single status of the person wearing them. All have been tried over and again but none have taken off. It makes you wonder why people keep hammering away at this concept.
Even the Dragon’s Den had to confront this last year and they sensibly roundly rejected the idea.

I think theses guys miss the whole point of being able to let others know one is Single – probably because the the 2 mediums they mention here this tacky badge and a blue ring. I’m single and in the beginning I thought similar because these items weren’t classy enough or stylish enough for me to want to wear. 2 years ago I found the SHI Symbol – stands for Single, Happy and Interested and its perfect because it is fashionable and trendy and above all has a great meaning of celebrating one’s singledom as well as because its based on Mars Venus gender symbols others know what it means. Give this a go if you’re serious about wanting to meet others, otherwise I’d say don’t bother.

Huh? I wouldn’t wear an identification to tell the world that I’m freaking single. But I guess the idea will depend to a person if he wants to be recognized as single, and maybe it’ll bring luck on her love life, who knows. Your choice…
