Very funny, i always thought zoosk was a weird name but they are apparently doing well and its easy to remember. I think a generic name is the way to go and that would help with marketing costs but you would also have to buy the domain if it is already taken.

I would pick the cheapest because many of them are not going to help you in the search engines. So find something cheap and just promote the name
