THE NEXT WEB – Sep 25 - Silicon Valley Insider’s SAI Digital published a list of the 100 “most valuable internet startups”, and while most of the usual suspects were on the list (Facebook, Zynga, Wikipedia, Skype, Craigslist, Twitter, Vente-Privee, Yandex, Betfair, and LinkedIn make up the top ten) one Canadian startup made the list: Plenty of Fish at #84. Congrats to POF but it’s incorrect to include them in the list as they are not a startup. Over five years old, something like $20 million in revenue, etc. What they are is an acquisition target. At least thats what the Wall Street investors I talk to say.
