OPW – June 12 – So you want a mobile app for your internet dating or social networking site? Apparently, creating an iphone app is so easy that even a 9 year old can do it. This 9 year old created a chiropractic app. He used Microsoft Publisher, Adobe Dreamweaver, Handbrake, and Phonegap to create the app. Phonegap is an open source platform that allows you to use HTML5 and Javascript to build apps for iPhone, Android, Symbian, Palm and Microsoft Mobile.

Mark, other than the fact that the 9 year old is clearly bright, I don’t get this post ? There are many technologies and platforms (I could name 10) that act as some form of App generators, either from CMS, web site scraping, native frameworks, blog App generators etc etc. It is a bit like saying BMW makes a good car. Sure, but lets acknowledge that this is one amongst many.
