Hi Mark,
It would be great if you could elaborate on why iDate is moving to Moscow.
Do you expect Russia to be the leading market in online dating?
Hi Mark,
It would be great if you could elaborate on why iDate is moving to Moscow.
Do you expect Russia to be the leading market in online dating?
I will have a video on this for the industry on Monday.
The industry isn’t ‘moving’ to Moscow. In reality, there actually always has been a substantial part of the dating industry located within Eastern Europe. Almost all of the dating software companies in the business are either based in Eastern Europe or have the majority of their development team there.
iDate over the last decade has seen several dating operators and software companies come to iDate Miami, iDate London, iDate Paris and iDate LA from Russia and Eastern Europe. For them, they needed to get a visa.
We wanted to return the favor and show our appreciation for them supporting the industry and supporting iDate. So we decided this year’s event will be in Moscow.
Being ahead of the curve, this is the first Dating Industry conference ever in Russia.
For them, no Visa and easy access. For you….you need a Visa. http://www.idate2011.com/venue-moscow-2011.php lists all the information on getting a visa and getting to the hotel. There’s a video on how to get to the hotel on that page as well.
Like I said, I’ll have another video about the event and how to get a visa for it on Monday. The Anastasia Party is set to be….nothing short of stellar. And the companies speaking are all top of their class in the business.
Hope to see you there.
