AD AGE – Sep 9 - CBS's syndicated late-night dating show, "Excused," will use Jazzed.com, a new site from eHarmony that will allow viewers to virtually meet and maybe even physically date contestants on the show. During each 30-minute episode of "Excused," references will be made to the contestants' Jazzed.com profile pages, where viewers can learn more about individuals' likes, dislikes, background and more.

Jazzed is eHarmony’s free dating site and social media play. A competitor to Plentyoffish and OKCupid, perhaps? Compete reports them at about 100k hits a month right now. Match toyed with free dating but killed their project. eHarmony needs to attract a legion of younger users in the future, so they will use Jazzed to pull their attention and then drive them to eHarmony as they decide they want more.
