It might be worth it if they did a bit of SEO and bolted the domain onto a white label platform to build a business around the domain to demonstrate monetisation. Would hardly cost anything and would certainly justify a higher asking price.
At present though Sam’s absolutely right – I’m sick of seeing farcical valuations for domains and businesses in this industry, it really sets unrealistic expectations for others.
