The Internet’s Dating Dungeon: Craigslist Personals

Posted on October 18, 2012

Craigslist logoMANCAVE DAILY – Oct 18 – Craigslist personals allow one to do things that would result in a ban from conventional dating sites. That’s because Craigslist s all about getting down to business. Craigslist Personals is governed by shame, need and shameful needs. This is also why so many women don’t post photos. Because so many guys on Craigslist are so sexually unique, at least 50% of the women on Craigslist are pros.

Spark Networks Sued For False And Deceptive Spam Emails

Posted on October 17, 2012

SparknetworksMARKETWIRE – Oct 17 – Spam recipients filed a class action lawsuit against ChristianMingle and BlackSingles for violations of California's anti-spam law. According to the complaint, Spark Networks is liable for advertising in unlawful spams sent by its third-party marketing affiliates that violated Business & Professions Code Section 17529.5. Some of the emails for ChristianMingle and BlackSingles listed a woman's name as the sender, while others used generic from names like "Christian Dating," "Christian Dating Partner," or "Christian Singles" that misrepresent the advertiser. Many of the spam emails were sent using domain names that made it difficult to determine their origin. Other domain names were registered to fake companies or individuals with bogus addresses. The statute allows $1,000 per spam plus attorneys' fees for prevailing recipients.

Dating Sites: Not The Only Game In Town

Posted on October 16, 2012

DatingonlineTHE ROOT – Oct 15 – According to a new study, meeting someone online has become the second-most-common way to connect with a partner. The most common way is still to be introduced by friends, but online dating seems to be a trend that's not going away anytime soon. Dating sites like Match.com aren't the only options anymore. Following someone's Instagram account or even asking a follow-up question about someone's Yelp review could be the thing that sparks a new relationship.
