GUARDIAN.CO.UK – Nov 26 – The value of the UK online dating market jumped 6% to ~£170M last year. 2/3 of singles are using mainstream dating sites such as Match and eHarmony, while 2.8M pursue "erotic encounters" on Shagaholic and Sexintheuk. Of Europe's 5,000 dating portals, ~1,500 emanate from the UK.
