OPW – Dec 12 – (Register for iDate by Friday and save $525. Its $1275 at-the-door, or $750 online by Friday. After Friday its $800.)
Last week I reviewed the Wednesday and Thursday agendas, but didn't get to Friday… Since then I see Marc has fortified the Wednesday Advanced Marketing Pre-conference session with an expert on email deliverability. That's an evolving and challenging subject area, so I'm looking forward to hearing the latest best practices.
Also, Sean Kelley's 'Dating Affiliate Outlook' session on Thursday is especially worthy of your attention. FriendFinder was built on affiliate marketing, and Sean is @ FriendFinder. Hopefully he'll divulge some golden nuggets.
Also on Thursday, Google's head of iDating, Tom Simon, will be presenting 'Gaining the Competitive Advantage: Strategies Specific for iDating.' A must-attend.
Stand out sessions on Friday include a session with Dan Slater from Fast Company (formerly a WSJ reporter) and Brian Bowman CEO of theComplete.me (formerly Match.com). Dan's spent a couple of years studying the dating industry for his new book, due out in January. 'Love in the age of algorithms' so it will be interesting to hear his thoughts on 'Dating Disruption Methods.'
And for a deeper dive into dating algorithms, see the 10:30am session on Dating Algorithms with Dr Steve Carter VP of Matching from eHarmony and Dr Rense Lange, who helped build the TRUE.com matching system several years ago.
Learn how to protect your users better with behavioral monitoring systems from the CTO and president of ChristianCafe.com, and then go to the Dating Affiliate Soapbox to pick up some tips from affiliate marketing experts. See the full agenda here. There's 60+ speakers this year and three tracks to choose from.
(Full Disclosure: Courtland Brooks advised theComplete.me and TRUE. This blog is partnered with iDate.)
