NY POST – Nov 23 – View N Me, a month-old dating site, uses live video chats to make fudging the appearance impossible. “There’s a level of deception that is associated with user profiles,” says View N Me co-founder Eric Friedman. Friedman and co-founder Lindsey Lachlan, both 29, launched View N Me after experiencing frustrating first dates.

Video dating should have a future, but has a torrid past. Webdate, Speeddate, Woome. Ultimately, the problem with video dating is few people really want to do it, and when they do, they burn through the dating site inventory quickly. Its challenging. And guys do crazy things on video and that can be challenging as well.
