New Bay Area Matchmaker Targets Wealthy Single Men

THE MARIN INDEPENDENT JOURNAL – Aug 23 – "Our memberships start at $15k," says Megan Buquen, the company's VP. "We have a huge waiting list." In business less than a year, Executive Matchmakers is targeting CEOs, doctors, lawyers, politicians and entrepreneurs living in Northern California. The agency has a team of scouts who are looking for eligible women at charity events, art openings, wine tastings, film festivals, tennis clubs and upscale gyms. Prospective women are invited to fill out a profile and come into the company's Sausalito office for an interview. The men pay. The women do not.

Wow! This is fascinating concept. So the women are recruited by scouting events. I guess if you have a lot of money and don’t have the time to attend these types of events yourself where you would meet such eligible woman, it is a good investment. I am curious to hear about its success rates in the future.

This sounds like a no brainer for women since they don’t have to pay and could potentially meet a wealthy man to fall in love with.
For the men, even though they have to pay, it shouldn’t create a huge dent in their pocket and am sure they are thrilled to meet tons of beautiful women.
