BOSTINNO – Jan 14 – Aste is a new Boston-based startup that will, for $39.95, search the Internet for its users to check their online dates. All of the information Aste pulls for its reports (full name, age, sex offender status, arrests, social media profiles, work history, interests, etc) is public, so it's legal. The research is made by humans. Julie Nashawaty, founder and CEO of Aste, started the company after she found out her online date had been arrested for a bank robbery and was now out of jail awaiting trial.
