OFF RCRD – Nov 4 – Sean Rad spoke to Cory Levy who is an entrepreneur, investor and thought leader on tech startups and entrepreneurship. Before Tinder, Sean started email service Orgoo and Adly, a celebrity-marketing company. He sold Adly right when the iPhone came out. He started learning and experimenting with other projects on mobile which he never launched. "The hard part is actually really clarifying the problem, having a clear vision how you want to solve it. The easier problem has always been finding the people or the tools that can help build that," he said. He was inspired to launch Tinder after he was in a coffee shop and didn't have the courage to speak to a girl because he was scared of rejection. The early version of Tinder was created in 24h during a weekend hackathon.
