BBC.CO.UK – Apr 17 – A survey found nearly half of millennials are now using dating apps to boost their confidence, instead of romance. Among the 26M daily matches that Tinder claims occur on the app every day, only 7% of male users and 21% of female users send a message. Clinical psychologist, Dr Jessamy Hibberd believes that dating apps could be addictive due to the dopamine rush people can get from getting 'likes' and matches.
