BUSINESS TIMES – Sep 7 – Grindr is planning an IPO overseas. Grindr owner, Beijing Kunlun Technology, did not publicize where or when the IPO will take place. The LGBT community continues to thrive in China. Rela is one of the most popular social networking platforms that cater to the LGBT community in China. During its peak, the platform had ~5M registered users. Blued, the country's second-largest social network for the LGBT community claims to have 27M registered users. Based on the latest data, the Chinese LGBT population currently stands between 70M to 90M. The Chinese LGBT community has an annual purchasing power that stands at a massive $938B in 2017 alone.

Grindr is an app that attracts mainly young white (race and age hating) gay men. With having successfully excluded all but the most most toxic and superficial Executive-style Lucius Malfoy arrogant types, they discovered how boring they are when they finally achieved their dream of a perfect little prejudiced, young white and rich hellhole. Their fog of superficiality seems to be dissipating as their hollow nature manifests itself.
In desperation for new blood, they are at last looking to Asia… Hmmmm…. does that mean “older Asians” “Arabs” or “Black Africans” should be excluded, or only the older ones?? Why doesn’t Grinder go to South American countries or Africa??
In contrast, Blued is an “inclusive” app that does not cater to the prejudiced elite and is gaining more ground. Perhaps the White Executives at Grindr may be discovering that the arrogant prejudice of their predominantly Young White members isn’t compatible with profits?? Perhaps hate is not as profitable as they once imagined…
