THE VERGE – Roblox's CEO, David Baszucki, made ten predictions about the platform's future during the Roblox Developers Conference (RDC) 2023 keynote. One of the predictions is that "thousands" of adults will meet and form "real-life relationships" on Roblox over the next five years, as the platform expands beyond a kids' app. Roblox recently introduced experiences exclusively for users aged 17 and older and plans to release an AI-powered tool for creating realistic avatars. Additionally, the platform is launching Roblox Connect video chat, enabling deeper connections. Baszucki's other predictions include Fortune 500 companies using Roblox for recruiting and a K-12 curriculum integration.
