NEWS.COM.AU – Tinder is testing a new ID and photo verification feature for users in Australia and New Zealand to enhance safety and profile authenticity. The process requires a video selfie and a valid driver's licence or passport, verifying the face against both the ID and profile photos. Profiles that pass both checks will display a blue checkmark, while photo-only and ID-only verifications will have their respective badges.
