White Label Dating’s Comeback Raises Eyebrows Across the Industry

OPW – White Label Dating, which entered administration in 2024, is set to return on July 1 under what its website describes as new ownership and management. The announcement has already triggered criticism from Michael O’Sullivan, founder of HubPeople, who publicly questioned the relaunch and highlighted the collapse of the previous business. O’Sullivan says that HubPeople lost £100K after providing funds during a proposed restructuring shortly before the company entered administration. He also claims partners, suppliers, and employees were left with significant losses following the collapse, which resulted in ~$3M in liabilities. O’Sullivan is calling for clarity on who owns and controls the new operation, what protections exist for partners, and what governance and financial safeguards have been put in place before businesses commit marketing budgets or resources to the platform.

Three Day Rule VP Erika Kaplan reports a similar trend among clients in technology and finance, including in liberal cities such as New York.

In contrast, 40% of singles in their 50s prefer to observe first and see whether life goals align before raising the subject. Among those aged 60-69, 18% say future plans are not important in a relationship, suggesting a greater focus on companionship in the present.
