
NEWS NATION – Tinder has paused its AI-powered photo enhancement feature in the U.S. following complaints that it altered users’ appearances without clear consent. The tool was intended to improve brightness, sharpness, and clarity without changing facial features or skin tone, but users reported unnatural results, including modified teeth and lighter skin. Tinder user Jeni Rubin deleted the app after discovering the feature had automatically enhanced one of her profile photos. Tinder has not said whether or when the feature will return.
