IB TIMES – Simon Leviev, known as the Tinder Swindler, plans to launch a dating app called Safe Love. He claims his experience with manipulation would help him identify romance scams and protect users. The Online Dating and Discovery Association has urged Apple and Google to block the app, arguing that a convicted fraudster should not operate a dating platform. Leviev was convicted in Israel in 2019 of theft, fraud, and forgery. Safe Love has not yet launched, and it is unclear whether it will receive app-store approval.
