6 Reasons Why Women Cheat

Posted on July 26, 2010

Cheating1 MODERN GHANA – July 24 – It's guesstimated that 14%-40% of married women have intimately tangoed with someone other than their husbands. Women today have the same opportunities to cheat as guys always did. The Internet is filled with chat rooms and websites like AshleyMadison.com and AffairMatch.com that blatantly court married men and women looking for a little something on the side.
Here are the six most common reasons:

1. Familiarity has bred indifference - When a woman feels like little more than a household drudge, attention from someone else becomes extremely seductive.
2. You're leading parallel lives
3. The passion has fizzled
4. The fantasy has fizzled
5. Your ego needs a boost
6. It's payback time

More Texans Lured To Online Dating Service For Cheaters

Posted on June 14, 2010

Ashleymadison logo new apr 2010 STAR TELEGRAM – June 12 –  More than 355K people in Texas are members of AshleyMadison's infidelity service, 108K of whom are women. And in the past year, the number of female newlyweds who have signed up has skyrocketed. In Fort Worth, for example, female newlywed sign-ups have surged from 216 in April 2009 to 605 in April of this year. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 55,755 Texans got divorced last year, compared with 53,895 in 2007. And while no reputable studies show how many of those divorces involved cheating, experts say it's a major issue. AshleyMadison.com now has more than 6 million members, ~30 % of whom are women.

Hannity Debates Founder Of AshleyMadison.com

Posted on May 14, 2010

Ashleymadison logo new apr 2010 FOX NEWS – May 13 - Unlike Match.com or Eharmony.com or Hannidate on Hannity.com, AshleyMadison.com isn't just another dating Web site for singles. It is a dating Web site for married people. Now not only do they actually encourage cheating on your spouse, the company proudly acts as the vehicle to help make that happen. Here is the interview with founder and CEO of AshleyMadison.com Noel Biderman.

Q: You think it's good for people to have affairs?
A: I think if they are totally unhappy with their relationship and that is the avenue they need to pursue to preserve their marriage, absolutely. That's what they should do.

Q: Why would you not have a conscience bother you that this might hurt people's marriages?
A: I'm at the cutting-edge of what society needs. It's important to create a platform for these people because having them utilize a single dating site and meet an unsuspecting single, that's inappropriate. Having an affair in the workplace and risk you losing your job, that's inappropriate. What is so wrong with people having a social network of their own?

Q: You're rationalizing your contribution to the potential break up of marriages which will not only affect the two people involved, but also the children. Do you want to look the young kids in the eye when his parents get a divorce?
A: It's the same argument you can make and say, "Oh, divorce attorneys are profiting from divorce, and we should get rid of divorce attorneys."

Straight People, Gay Sex

Posted on April 15, 2010

Ashleymadison logo new apr 2010 XTRA! – Apr 14 - Attached straight men and women looking for gay encounters are now very common, says Noel Biderman, founder of Ashley Madison, a hookup site designed for married folks looking to have affairs. Currently, AM boasts 200,000 attached users looking for casual same-sex hookups across Canada and the US. Biderman says AM offers discretion, something few other hookup websites provide. “The big thing between AM and other sites is your profile is honest." When people go to more traditional online dating, they usually have to lie about their relationship status, says Eric Resnick, online dating expert and coeditor of Online Personals Watch.

Ashley Madison Launches In Australia

Posted on April 12, 2010

Ashleymadison logo new apr 2010 SYDNEY MORNING HERALD – Apr 12 - Weeks into a "soft opening", with no publicity or advertising, Australian women have adopted the Ashley Madison agency motto – "life is short, have an affair" – with an enthusiasm founder Noel Biderman says he's not seen before. "We've never had more women than men, it's always been about two to one, male to female," Biderman said. Biderman said 40,000 Australians so far had joined the agency, which he started in Canada in 2001, fusing the two most popular children's names at the time to come up with AshleyMadison.com. FULL ARTICLE @ SYDNEY MORNING HERALD

Female Newlyweds Flock To Join Cheaters Club

Posted on April 9, 2010

Ashleymadison logo new apr 2010 THE STAR – Apr 8 – According to Ashley Madison statistics, the number
of Toronto-area female newlyweds on their site has skyrocketed in the
past year. In March 2009, there were 3,184 women who had been married
for three years or less actively using the service. A year later, there
were 12,442. “There’s an overall increase in female infidelity in
general,” says Ruth Houston, a New York-based infidelity
expert. Houston is convinced that infidelity by women has increased by
50% in the last 10 years. But the U.S. National Opinion Research Center
report on American Sexual Behaviour offers much smaller figures: In
2004, 20.5% of men and 11.7 % of women admitted to cheating on their
spouses, a change from 21.3 and 10% in 1991. Ashley Madison membership
is growing madly. All of Canada, U.S., U.K. and Australia – 5,410,347
members (up from 2,802,664 a year ago), 3,898,468 male, 1,511,879
female. FULL ARTICLE @ THE STAR
