GANNETT NEWS SERVICE — Nov 23 — Morgan wrote me an e-mail saying she was "looking to definitely become intimate" with me. She really wanted me to call her, but in order to get her phone number, I had to go to her Web site. I found a slightly naked Morgan; I had to plug in my e-mail address and credit card number to see more pictures of her. But she was only asking me to do this "so not just anyone can see all of me!" "Don't worry," she said. "It's free!" On MySpace, a cheerleader law student identified only as "C"…"I like what I've seen from you so far," she said, even though she had seen nothing of me so far. She wanted to make sure I liked her also, so she sent me to her Web site, where for $19.95 I could see pictures of married women who wanted "discreet affairs."

Babelove please watch out!!!I was talking to a man different name. Also travelling to Africa. Meet him on Eharmony. Beautiful words, kind and ready to marry me. After a month claimed to have problems while travelling. Asked for cell phone. I checked his address and phone nr…all fake but he still claims to come home and meeting me. Dont go for that!!
IZKA ?? How did you check his address and phone ? All I know is his name, email, cell number and birthdate — if that is true — I am not sure…..
Babelove…He told me that he got himself in mess trying to charge his phone. Of course I asked him if I can do anything? He asked me for new phone cause hi’s on business trip and people can’t contact him. Then I asked about the carrier and he mentioned name but told me that time difference is the problem. I offered to call and asked about his info…and he said to forget it. All he needs is new cell phone and it will take time for Tmobile to get him new one.Red flag right there! Then I said ok. Got the cell phone but told him that I need his address , phone and some more info before I send it. Of course he came back with …I am so hurt you dont trust me…How can you my love…etc.I turned off my computer for a day and asked myself a good question….Do I really want to be a victim? I got on this website and read same kind of stories. When I saw that Ghana comes in every and each of them then I knew its scam. I played along and asked him to give me his number in Ghana and he did. It wasnt hotel but a cell phone. When he picked up I knew he wasnt from Monaco. He was much younger then he claimed and had an affrican accent. Things just didnt click. Then he send me his driver licence( stolen I guess) I checked the address and some other people live in there. I havent spoke to them but I am sure they have no clue.
All I can say …please be careful and wise. Use your intuition…and that will guide you. Wishing you best…
P.s Phone tha I got for him I am using myself …and I love it!!
knibon….No its not the same guy..although the guy I was talking to had driving license and all that he showed me (copy) He said he was 48 yrs old when I talked to him he sounded more like 20 with an african accent. Where did he got driving license from and all other photos I have no clue. They are very smart…believe me and if they are asking for any kind of financial help thats a red flag. Woman do that too….I talked to a friend of mine and he had same thing happened to him. What a shame. The guy I was talking to was supposed to be from Monaco and his name was Frank Moss Hollis.Still claiming that I am making big mistake by accusing him of it. Better be safe then sorry.:) Have you talked to him on the phone?
yes i have talked to him on the phone for 4 months at least 2x 3x per week. he has a very british sounding accent (at least thats what i think – i’m no expert) he has a london # and a nigerian # which he explained away as a satellite phone which my friends who know something about those phones say is possible. again. i can’t tell fact from fiction these days. i’ll let you all know if he actually shows up. a friend suggested i check his IP adresses- which were all over the place, UK, S. Africa, Twain- I understand that is somewhat normal as well just none from china where he was- again i am told it just depends on how you connect. Believe me, I am going to get a lot more comuter savy. YOu would think a “professional scammer” would hide their IP addresses……
