The idea of such education is being discussed a lot nowadays.
And not long ago I’ve met an interesting conceipt. It’s “healthy relationship”. The author used it in concern to dating and meeting people.
According to the description, some people can do anything to keep their boyfriends or girlfriends. So that means that every day they are “suffering from emotional, physical or verbal abuse.” (read more at http://www.family.org/- this is not an ad, just a research)
I suppose they need help from adults, at school or at home. I also found out that the teachers offered to include such subject into curriculum and in some schols it’s already taught within 9th grades.
The motto is “Love Is Not Abuse.” This involves online communities also.
All I can say that online dating and community sites are less abusing then real life connections, though teens should get to know how to behave in online community in order to avoid stress.
