THE BALTIMORE SUN — Aug 13 — After weeks of chatting online with her Internet love interest, a Baltimore County woman was asked to receive some deliveries at her home. Within days, thousands of dollars’ worth of merchandise arrived with a request to reship them to Ghana. Police confirmed that at least some of the goods involved in the Internet “reshipping” scheme was purchased with stolen credit cards.
