OPW – Apr 1 – Sam Moorcroft, CEO of ChristianCafe.com has offered $20M in cash to Noel Biderman, CEO of AshleyMadison, to shut his website down. AshleyMadison is a controversial site that helps married people to hook up with other married people. Rumors have come in from multiple sources that Noel refused the offer and instead offered Sam a lifetime membership to AshleyMadison with a message: "Life is short, have an affair. Only God is always faithful."

I heard a rumour Sam was leaving his wife and him and Noel were having a civil partnership.
Ahh, that time of the year again.

All of this is looks like AshleyMadison’s commercial…

Much as I dislike what AshleyMadison stands for, they do provide a place for married folks wanting to fool around to go. I haven’t heard nearly as much lately about the bane of married men cruising the regular dating sites. And I do have to admire the witty way AshleyMadison gets attention. If this wasn’t pasted on April 1, I’d think that ChristianCafe was taking the same tack.

Can two million Christian singles be wrong about ChristianCafe.com? 🙂

P.S. Re: AM providing a “place” for cheaters – what kind of reasoning is that? Crack dealers provide the same thing for school yard addicts. Hurray for crack dealers! (As much as we “dislike” what they do, of course).
