6 million visit per day: if they were successful from the first day, a population of 180,000,000 would have being matched.
Returning customers is usually a good sign for any business, except for this type of business where the success is when people suppose to match and not return.

Well Sam that’s only if you assume “success”= a committed relationship where both people take their profiles down and leave any given site.Not everyone is looking for that.That being said,I’ve been on POF about 2.5 yrs and I’ve met 6 women.None have made it to a second date except a woman I platonically played tennis with a few times.Hardly a “success” story…lol I used to actually hate the quality of the site and the photo compression scheme they used but they’ve cleaned it up quite a bit and it looks much better.
It is what it is….. a free site and people(especially women)love”free”but they soon find out you get what you pay for and all the quality people are on Match so that’s where they end up and yes I’ve seen them go from one site to the other in a month or so.It’s just the way that it is.
