The platform differentiates itself by using shared memes to initiate connections. Leveraging AI, Schmooze assesses users' personalities based on their meme interactions to suggest compatible matches. Vidya Madhavan, Schmooze's co-founder, emphasizes the role of humor in forming relationships. Since starting, the app has seen ~3.5M matches and 50M meme swipes.
